He Pitched!
My baby pitched his first game. I don't know who was most nervous, him or me. You could tell he was nervous because he had a hard time catching the ball.
His first inning wasn't pretty. He balked two or three times and you could tell that his head just wasn't in the game at that point.
But then he started to gain some confidence.
He gave up two runs in the first inning.
At the end of the first inning, he got himself into a rhythm.
He worked three innings and ended up with five strike outs. Not to shabby for his first pitching effort! Oh, they won the game 8-5!
